Year 4 Times Tables Tournament

A hub-wide tournament for Year 4 pupils to showcase their times tables knowledge and application.

Who?

Each school team will consist of three Year 4 pupils (selected from in-school competition) plus accompanying adult who will act as score-keeper.

How?

Pupils will participate in three rounds, sometimes working individually, sometimes as a team, to compile team points towards winning the Tournament Trophy!

• Round 1 – fluency with recall of multiplication/division facts. Speed tested.
• Round 2 – recall and application of factors and multiples up to 12 x 12.
• Round 3 – team challenges around reasoning and problem solving using multiplication and    division

12th July 2017  10am – 12pm
